O God, you are my God. For you I long. For you my body yearns; for you my soul thirsts; Like a land parched, lifeless and without water.
Psalm 63:1-2

Are You Thirsty?

  Are You Thirsty?

John 7:37-38 Jesus stood and cried, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the  scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

One day while Jesus was passing Samaria he felt tired so he sat down by a well. The name of the well was Jacob's Well. While sitting there, a Samaritan woman came to fetch water from the well.
Jesus asked her for a drink of water. The woman asked him how could he a Jew ask her a Samaritan woman for water. In those days the Jews used nothing in common with Samaritans.
Jesus replied that if she knew the gift of God and who was saying to her,"Give me a drink," she would have asked him and he would have given her living water.
The woman was surprised at his answer seeing that the cistern was deep and he did not even have a bucket to draw the water. She then asked him how he would have fetched the water and was he greater than their father Jacob who gave them that well.
Jesus answered her, "Everyone who drinks from this well will become thirsty again but whosoever drinks of the water that I will give to them will never thirst. This water will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
The woman replied, "Sir, give me this water so that I may not be thirsty or have to keep coming here to draw water."
John 4:1-14

Every time you drink water remember this story. You need water in order to live. You also need spiritual water inorder, to live.
John 7: 37
....Jesus stood and cried, "If any man thirst, let him come unto me and drink."
Today may I invite  you to invite Jesus the living water to come into your heart.
Pray this prayer:
Dear Lord, I repent of my sins.
Please forgive me of all unrighteousness.
Come into my heart and wash me with your precious blood that you shed on Calvary .
Amen.

If you prayed that prayer and meant it, rejoice! your name is now written in the Lamb's book of life.
Do let us know and we will pray for you. Find a church in your area and start attending there regularly. Read your bible daily.
